On the afternoon of April 2, Zhang Lu, President of the Tanzanian Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce, along with Vice Presidents Huang Jinshan and Zhu Li, visited NJIT. V Deputy Chairman of University Council Pu Lijie warmly welcomed the delegation and held discussions on collaborative opportunities.
Zhang introduced the current state of Tanzania and the Chamber’s activities, expressing interest in cooperation with NJIT in engineering technology to support Tanzania’s development. Pu highlighted Tanzania’s strategic role in the Belt and Road Initiative, emphasizing the potential for educational collaboration to cultivate skilled engineering talent.
Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges and the School of Marxism attended the meeting.
