On the morning of February 29, Sun Aiwu, Chairman of University Council and Pu Lijie, Deputy Chairman of University Council met Ms. Xu Ping from Boston Global Education Group at NJIT Administrative Center.
Sun expressed warm welcome for Xu's visit and provided an overview of NJIT recent international collaborations, including online research courses introduced from Cambridge University on "Artificial Intelligence and Robotics" and UC Berkeley on "Global Energy Transition: Ethics, Physics, and Technology." These courses received positive feedback from 72 undergraduates across various schools. He emphasized the desire to enhance cooperation with renowned overseas universities to expand course offerings and benefit more students and faculty.
Pu noted the successful launch of the online courses and expressed hope to introduce more high-quality educational resources from the U.S. to deepen exchanges in talent acquisition and research collaboration for high-quality development.
Xu expressed her gratitude to NJIT for its warm reception and highly praised the accomplishments of participating students and faculty. She expressed commitment to developing more advanced and practical research courses aligned with NJIT’s focus on applied undergraduate education, offering richer overseas learning opportunities.
Representatives from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and faculty members involved in the online courses attended the meeting.
