On the morning of January 26, Mr. Lu Hanbin, General Manager of Czech Aviation Development Company and Vice Chairman of the Czech-China Chamber of Commerce, visited NJIT. Chairman of University Council Sun Aiwu, Deputy Chairman of University Council Pu Lijie, and Director of Office of Publicity Chen Jianhua hosted the guests at campus.
Sun welcomed Lu and presented him with a commemorative gift. Pu highlighted the NJIT’s dedication to fostering applied talent, aiming to establish itself as a leading application-oriented university through international partnerships. Lu acknowledged the reception, noting the Czech Republic's strong industrial foundation and its reputable universities, such as Charles University and the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, which align with NJIT’s academic strengths. He expressed willingness to facilitate future collaborations between Czech and Chinese universities.
Before the meeting, Lu visited the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship as well as the campus-based Tianyin Dreamworks Incubation Studio. Officials from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office attended the event.
